InSEA    aim: 

  • to facilitate identification and dissemination of significant research issues and methodologies in art education that are of international importance and ;
  • to facilitate interaction and information exchange between InSEA members engaged in research. 
  • to promote cross-cultural and multi-cultural research in art education and related fields. 
  • building of a database  with information about publications, specially PHD thesis in visual arts education, currently  available here.


     

Peace Patchwork of Africa

 

 

 

 

Squares of fabric with embroideries; thai dai ; silk sreen, and other techniques are now beeing gathered all around  Africa by Vice President Samia El Shaik . A workshop was conducted in Cairo congress April 2nd, to make a first collection  of the Peace Patchwork of Africa, with works from   Alexandria, Fayoum, Cairo, Namibia, Nigeria and Zambia. Other works will join in Walvis Bay, Namibia end October. 

Mobile movie project 2013 -14

 Aya Katagiri, Maria Letsiou, Bernadette Thomas Mobilemovie project is a research project undertaken by three art teacher from three different parts of the world, Japan, Greece and Germany. During the 2013 - 2014 academic years, their high school students have been involved in producing video art. The art creation is the result of three-step teaching tasks derived from the students’ virtual interaction.
