InSEA PUBLICATIONS
Knowledge shared,
across borders,
in and through art
The International Society of Education Through Art (InSEA) publishes three distinct channels: a visual journal, a leading academic journal, and an open-access book series. All InSEA publications are free to read for members, advancing the global field of art education.

International Journal of Education through Art (IJETA)
IJETA is InSEA's highly-rated peer-reviewed academic journal, published by Intellect. It covers research, theory, and practice across the full spectrum of art education from early years to higher education, classroom, and museum.
InSEA members receive free, full access to all issues from 2005 to the present. Non-members can access current issues of IJETA via Intellect's platform.
International Visual Journal for Art Education (IMAG)
IMAG is InSEA's flagship peer-reviewed journal where images are the argument. Each visual essay presents 5–15 images alongside up to 1,000 words of reflection to center art practice and pedagogy.
This journal is open to submissions from anywhere in the world, accepting submissions in multiple languages. IMAG is especially welcoming of experimental approaches, non-Western perspectives, and work from informal or community contexts.
