WAAE (World Alliance for Arts Education) will celebrate the 2025 UNESCO Arts Education Week through a series of Forums and Webinars during the week, and through public actions of the members of our associations. InSEA is a member of WAAE and is also the official UNESCO organisation for visual art education across the globe.
2. InSEA invites members and non members to contribute to our international Padlet Board and ‘draw a line’ for visual art education. This can be a photograph of a time and place, or a drawing or art work, or any image that you think ‘draws a line’. Add to previous submissions and make this world map vibrate with creativity!
InSEA celebrates the UNESCO global International Arts Education Week: DRAW A LINE FOR ART EDUCATION. Look at the photos on your phone or take a new photo image, and choose any that show a line or lines, go to the BLUE upload button and enter the location that you are in or where maybe the image is from, then upload the image. OR, Find time to actually pick up an art material and draw a line or lines that you can photograph. ‘Draw a line for art education’ is a fun inspired InSEA call out for the UNESCO International Arts Education week May 20-25 in 2025. This will add to our contributions from 2023 and 2024. Open to members and open to non members. Do not post images of people without getting their direct permission.
